Barcelona

Last Friday my trip to Barcelona finally started! I've never been there before so I was pretty excited.
Arriving there and seeing the beauty of this city was so good (and changing -1° C to 16° C was also pretty good)

Barcelona is a city with a huge amount of sights. So actually it was impossible to see the whole city in just a few days. But I tried to cover most of it.

Way to the "Port Olimpic"

Port Olimpic
Spending some time at the Port Olimpic is a must. All along the beach promenade are restaurants and coffees where you can relax. Especially on Sunday there are a lot of people who just relax there and enjoy their free time. It's a beautiful place to either ride a bike or the skate next to the beach. This is also the place where Shakira roller skated in music video to Loca.

Gaudí designed a lot of building in this beautiful city. All of them are worth a view.

Casa Mila
Especially this cathedral is one of the most famous buildings in Barcelona - La Sagrada Família. The highest point of this building is at about 115m. The have started building it in 1882 but it's still unfinished.
La Sagrada Família
But the highlight was visiting "Parc Güell" Also designed by Antonio Gaudí is located in the north of the city. After reaching the metro stop Lesseps there was just a little walk up to the hill before entering the park. The centerpiece of the park is a 3000 square meter terrace space. The size of the park is 17 ha.

I could write sooooo much more about this absolutely beautiful city but I think the best thing is to go there on your own and go to all the amazing places and just enjoy Barcelona.

Thanks for reading
xoxo
